Some of the most rewarding work I have done has been to bridge extremes: allowing creativity and innovation to enter highly structured organisations or adding order to very creative environments. It is an equal thrill to take a high quality team and help them to tap into something more, but also to embrace a group that is struggling and enable the resources to be a truly effective team.
In general I like to work closely with the project owner to define clear objectives and ensure that these are met effectively with clear thinking, good participation and full buy-in from everyone involved. I help every client to balance effectively between the big picture goals and practical detail and so focus on the task and application where it is needed
Distilling the right level of relevant information is key in my approach. By managing content flexibly and monitoring the level of engagement, I infuse appropriate energy to foster the group to enjoy not only the result, but also the way to their solution
I now apply my experience to offsite meetings, international congresses, Leadership Team management and team development.
